HECATE, BAR
The Hecate Bar is intended to create a multisensory experience that recalls a rite in honour of the deity Hecate, as an act of attraction and memorability of the religious myths and narratives about the goddess. The subterranean location combined with the cavernous environment and the cocktails-potions mixed by the “necromancers” at the bar reveals the chthonic, yet appealing aspects of the deity Hecate.
The result is a space that invites the users to a mystical and transcendent experience. The underground location of the bar, mediates between everyday life and the underworld. It is dark but intimate, creating a unique place that redefines the concept of nightlife and offers a controversial cultural approach.
